Pisa to La Spezia

We were just meandering around Pisa killing time when we stumbled on their annual Brick Art display.  Guess what Brick Art is?  LEGO!  Guess which thing we took more pictures of, the iconic, historical tower that's on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites or all the awesome Lego?

We each got to vote for our favorite.  I voted for the Bat Cave and Lyle voted for the Terminator.

We got our bags back from left luggage and ducked over to our binari (platform) to wait just a few minutes for our train.  No drama this time except that other people were in our seats, and experienced Trenitalia travelers that we now are, we had to explain to them that they needed to move.  Unsurprisingly, they were Americans (everyone else apparently just knows this stuff), so they had no trouble understanding us.

However, it did occur to me a few minutes before boarding the train that I had no idea what our hotel is tonight.  And, of course, no wifi.  So I signed Lyle out of email on the phone, signed me in, found my note regarding hiking, and was able to recover that information.  We know it's about a two minute walk from the train station, but we have no idea in what direction, so hey, we may be in for another fun time.

The ride to La Spezia is less than an hour and we will be using that to attempt to get info on the hotel.
